An ED-PSO model updating algorithm for structure health monitoring of beam-like structures

چکیده

Cracks and other damages generated during the service of bridges can reduce load bearing capacity threaten operational safety.Finite Element Model Updating (FEMU), as one important means structural health diagnosis, identifies damage through changes in model parameters. The three key factors FEMU are updating variables, objective functions, optimization algorithms. poor selection above existing research leads to high calculation errors updating, inevitably lead inability finite element carry out monitoring, affecting normal operation structure. In order solve problems, this paper combines previous establishes a algorithm based on combination eigenvector difference approach particle swarm (ED-PSO). validity accuracy method verified by analysis simply supported beam. Compared with algorithms static dynamic methods (CSD-PSO), results show that proposed ED-PSO has higher is expected be better applied bridge research.
